Gold implantation directly inhibits inflammation in the affected joint and alleviates chronic pain – on an outpatient basis, gently and without long-term medication.
With a minor procedure under local anaesthetic, I insert two-millimetre long gold segments (24 carat) around the affected joint. There, they develop their anti-inflammatory effect directly at the source of the discomfort. They support regeneration and can sustainably reduce pain caused by osteoarthritis or joint inflammation. Rehabilitation treatment is not required.
Minimally invasive gold implantation without general anaesthetic, follow-up treatment or rehabilitation.
Works directly and exclusively where you are suffering from pain – even in your back.
No antibiotic administration, resulting in a lower risk of resistance.
No known allergies to pure gold, practically free of side effects.
Particularly suitable for older patients who wish to avoid the risk of surgery.
Gold implantation is your gentle alternative for osteoarthritis and joint pain – for all joints, large and small, from knees and backs to hands and feet. Outpatient, without a general anaesthetic or complex rehabilitation, also ideal for high surgical risks.
Learn how minimally invasive gold implantation is performed under local anaesthetic and what steps are involved, from diagnostics to aftercare, to ensure a swift return to everyday life.
Following extensive diagnosis and consultation, tiny 1-2 mm segments of 24-carat gold wire are implanted around the affected joint using a hollow needle under local anaesthetic. The gold pieces remain permanently on the outside of the joint capsule, do not migrate, and exert their anti-inflammatory effect there – entirely without joint surgery, follow-up operations, or antibiotic therapy.
Immediately after the procedure, you can leave the practice and put normal weight on the treated joint. Driving is only possible with accompanying support due to the local anaesthetic. Temporary puncture pain or minor bruising is rare and can be easily treated with mild painkillers. Special rest or rehabilitation is not required – mobility and everyday suitability return quickly.
You will receive a specified GOÄ invoice with meaningful diagnosis, that private patients can present to their private health insurance provider. However, private insurers also very rarely cover the costs of gold implantation! The fee for the procedure is payable on site after the implantation has been carried out. We prefer Debit cardformer EC card). Cash payment is not possible. Please contact us directly for detailed price information.
